Excellent breeding lines that were selected over time, these plants are the 5th and 6th generation of breeding after plants were found in the wild.
The flowers on the 1st and 2nd photos are those of the parent plants used in this crossing. The 3rd, 4th & 5th photos show the seedlings available and their size - close to blooming.
Cattleya intermedia are hardy Cattleyas, which means that they can handle slightly under freezing if they are dry. They also handle very high temps if you slowly acclimate them, yet they grow perfectly in temperate environments and by a south/west window.
